Airport and Transporation
The closest airport to the Intellectual Freedom Sumit is the Ronald Reagan Washington National Airport. Transportation is not provided for the conference – we suggest to use services such as Uber, Lyft or Taxis to arrive at the Library of Congress for the event. Parking is limited around the Library of Congress, if you will be driving a personal vehicle, please look at parking garages in the area before traveling.
Parking and Directions
The closest parking garage to the Library of Congress is A&R Parking: 412 First Street, S.E. Washington, DC. Parking is not included with your registration. For directions to the Library of Congress, please visit the LoC Directions Website.
Event Address
The Intellectual Freedom Summit will take place in the Mumford room of the James Madison Memorial Building of the Library of Congress. The address is 101 Independence Avenue, S.E. Washington, DC. The Intellectual Freedom Summit Reception will be held in the Great Hall of the Library of Congress, located in the Jefferson Building at 10 First Street, S.E. Washington, DC.
All attendees must go through security and all items that are brought into the Madison Building must fit through the x-ray machine with dimensions 24 inches x 16 inches.
